The hydrogen storage control unit controls and monitors the hydrogen during filling, storage, and supply of the consumer systems. It is primarily used in heavy and light commercial vehicles for systems with compressed hydrogen (700 bar and 350 bar). To cover different hydrogen storage system topologies, both the hardware and the software were developed as a scalable platform solution on the basis of the GTR13 standard, which describes global safety requirements for hydrogen-powered vehicles. The AUTOSAR-based software approach enables simple integration of the software into customer-specific E/E architectures.
