Tank valve and tank plug

The hydrogen tank valve controls the flow of hydrogen in the hydrogen storage modules and in the high-pressure system. Both products include additional safety functions and optional sensors.

In addition, Bosch is developing solutions for integrating flat hydrogen storage modules in innovative chassis developed for battery-electric drive systems.

Tank manifold including high-pressure sensor

The hydrogen tank manifold distributes the hydrogen for filling the tanks and for consumption by the fuel cell or the H₂ engine.

• Adapted flow cross-sections for rapid fueling
• Integration of the high-pressure sensor
• High flexibility due to adjustable number of high-pressure interfaces

For systems with higher storage requirements, an additional manifold without high-pressure sensor can be integrated in the system.

Control unit including software

The hydrogen storage control unit controls and monitors the various operating modes of the hydrogen storage systems, such as filling, storage, and the supply to the consumers.

Functional system integration

Bosch supports its customers with the system design of the hydrogen storage system based on the functional and safety requirements. In this context, regional and market-specific requirements are taken into account.
